The HDM website no longer shows all of the different unit types for both timeshare and hotel units; when Sheraton was affiliated, I believe the website showed descriptions for all of the unit types.
Did your 1BR have 2 baths? Was it a spiral staircase to get to the second floor?
From what I have been able to find so far, there seems to be at least two different 1BR configurations where one has one bath with a small mini kitchen and the other has two baths with a full kitchen. I have a 1BR on hold with RCI and it is only described as having a max occupancy of 6 with privacy for 4. There has been reference to a “master suite” and “executive suite“; does anyone know the difference?
I would like to reach out to the resort to request a certain floorplan but would like to educate myself first!
AFAIK, the timeshare side and hotel side were completely separate (ie, you couldn't book into the hotel side via RCI). timeshare owners had access to both sets of amenities (restaurants and pools).
The 1 BR I had was a single staircase (not spiral) and 1 bathroom. They may have had 1 BR "plus" units, that may have had 2 bathrooms, but not the one I was in. Mine was a refurbished/updated unit. I requested that. My sister had the 3 BR penthouse but it was not remodeled/updated.
You're probably better off emailing the resort to ask for floor plans. I might have some old ones but will have to dig around in my emails, and that was like 4-5 years ago so I'm sure a lot has changed since.
