Hi - we'll be staying at the Hyatt Pinon Pointe in Sedona in January. Can you tell me the most convenient place to grocery shop from that location? We love to stock up first thing.
Thanks,
Sue

I don't remember where, or if, we did grocery shopping when we stayed there. I googled Sedona + grocery stores and found several in the area.

Basha's, which sounds familiar, is about 2 miles away on Coffee Pot Rd. It looks like Safeway is just a little bit past Basha's on W Hwy 89A.

We went to Bashas while staying at Arroyo Roble.

Closest would be New Frontiers, about a mile south on 89A. But Basha's and Safeway are just a short distance beyond on the same road. All will be on your right as you travel into West Sedona.

When you go shopping, do it first in the daylight. Those supermarkets are hard to find at night with the street/sign lighting restrictions in Sedona. Safeway, by the way, will take your Genuardi's shopper's card or any other of its affiliates by using your phone number. Enjoy.
