Hey Everyone

We will be heading out to Orlando for a few weeks. Grande Villas and Cypress Pointe both had the accommodations available for the two weeks.
We plan to visit DW and Disney Springs most days.

Any recommendations for one over the other?

We’re former owners at both.

Grande Villas has elevators in the condo buildings.

Cypress Pointe condo buildings are walk-ups.

That made little difference to us 20 years ago. Now it’s lots more important.

If you don’t care for the Grand Villas 1BR, you’ll hate the Cypress Pointe 1BR.

Quirky Grand Villas 1BR has a nice king bedroom & spacious bathroom. The quirky part is the kitchen area where the sleep-sofa is. Truly odd.

At Cypress Pointe, the 1BR is a hotel unit with micro-kitchen — not a true 1BR condo.

Yes. The Grand Villas 1 bedroom living room / kitchenette is so small and the TV is above the door that adjoins the next room.. — small too .. across the room. so it’s quite hard to see anything.
But you’ll have a 2 bd so you won’t have that problem.

IMHO, those elevators at Grande Villas can made a huge difference in a vacation. There are no elevators at Cypress Point Resort. Years ago when we exchanged into Cypress Pointe 2 bedroom villas. Our son and our two grandchildren would occupy the large one bedroom side of the villa and my wife and I would occupy the one bedroom studio unit.

To the OP, I believe there are YouTube videos you can see both resorts.

We have not stay at either resorts in over 20 years.

Thanks for the YouTube tip. I'll take a look.

Nice resort. Great location. I'm sure you'll have a nice time at Cypress Pointe.

Excellent location to all the theme parks, restaurants and shopping mall. The 3 bedrooms villas are very accommodating The parents should occupy the studio villa for peace and privatize. LOL
Our favorite unit back in the day was 1204 over looking the fountain and lake .
