Grande Ocean Refurbishment

Does anyone know what part of Marriott's Grande Ocean (Hilton Head) is being refurbished Jan. 3-Mar. 20, 2016? Will the indoor pool be closed?

I was there this year during the refurb period and the southern end of the resort was closed, at least outside; the exterior pools, bar, snack area. My room on the northern side had been remodeled, and the pools on my side were open. There is ongoing building directly across the street from the resort, building a new timeshare office. I am not sure where in the loading part the work will be happening, but the sales center will likely still be a project.

The south side is going through the ten year refirb

The north side interiors were already done as part of the ten year renovation and now the south side buildings will get the updates to them. Yes the new sales center was still under construction when we were there in August with the rood still being put on and exterior walls being put up.
