Does anyone know how the wristbands work at Paradise Pool (if there are wrist bands or you use your room key or show your room key?)

We have a 2br, assuming wristbands does one person just go down in the morning and get all 6 or does everyone have to be present and the towel people put them on?

Can you use all the pools at Hilton Hawaiian village if staying at GW?

Thanks in advance

In April 2013, they gave me a paper card to use to exchange for towels. I was told to make sure I got my paper card back at the end of the day or my stay in order to not be charged for towels. I believe they were going to give me one towel per person on the list of who was staying in my room.

I never used it.

Yes. You can visit any pool in the complex.

You can use all the pools at the HHV. No wristbands required. Towel cards 1 per towel and you can get as many as you want. Pools are crowded so we go the the beach!

Not so sure of that. Isn't the pool in the Ali tower reserved for residents of that tower? I am not sure whether there is a similar restriction on the Kalia tower pool.
In any case, I have not been in any of the HHV pools in years. They are crowded and noisy affairs, lots of "reserved" but unused loungers, screaming kids, etc. By contrast, the beautiful and very safe Waikiki beach is right there! The ocean is never so crowded as the pools, especially if you move a bit down the beach. In addition, the ocean is often as warm or warmer than the pools!

You are correct. You cannot use the Ali'i Tower pool. Nobody would want to use the Kalia Tower pool unless you were staying in the building.

Thanks everyone,
Unfortunately pools are probably where we're going to end up - currently we have a 4 year old, when we at WKORV April 2013 she wouldn't go near the ocean and we hung out solely at the kid pool, pirate pool ......

The best place to sit would be in the Hau Tree Bar near the Super Pool. The shallow kids section is right there and you can sit under an umbrella at one of the tables as long as you order food or drinks. There is also a lifeguard on duty (unlike most timeshares). Shade is at a premium at the HHV pools.
