Last summer, we stayed at Grand Timber in Breck and loved it.
We are using a lockout to trade into Grand Timber. Last night, there was one 1 bedroom available, but it is not longer available. Am I going to have trouble using a lockout for a 1 bedroom at Grand Timber? We would like to go mid-June - early September.

There are many 1 bedrooms available.

When I searched, using a 2 br unit, there were 1 br available almost everyweek for this summer. If you can't see them online with your lockout, you can try to call II and see if they will give it to you over the phone.

<, 2 br unit, there were 1 br available almost everyweek >.

Problem is that I am using a lockout and hoping for a one bedroom at Grand Timber. I looked at pix of Grand Timber's studio units -- they appear to be smaller than we want. But.. we have to go with the studio. We are open to any time June-mid September. I need my Breck "fix".

I am an owner at Grand Timber and I lockedout out last summer and stayed in a studio. There were two of us, and to be honest, I like my space. It was a little snug and privacy lacking for me.

We just stayed in a two bedroom last week, and next month we will be in a one bedroom. I would call II and try to get the one bedroom, especially if you are flexible. The difference in configuration is tremendous.

Have you called II?

My point was that there are many 1 br rooms available and you should CALL II and tell you want to trade your lockout for a 1 br. They may give it to you or they might not, but you never know unless you ask. I would call several times if not successful on the 1st call.

I am actually staying in a 2 br at Grand Timber of the 4th of July and looking forward to the trip.

What resort are you trading with? When searching with a studio, I see lots of 1 bedrooms and a few 2 bedrooms in that timeframe. It is a very easy trade in summer, so I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to pull the larger units then.
