Thank you to everyone who previously responded regarding my questions of safety on resort property. Convinced my wife to go and excited we are now booked for April!

Can those that have been there previously comment on if the nearby Walmart and Sam's Club will do delivery to the Vidanta resort? And can you comment on your experience with this as I understand it is a massive resort complex. Will they deliver to your room, the front check in? Was it fairly seamless as grocery delivery is here in the U.S.?

We will be traveling with 4 young children so we are hoping to purchase a lot of supplies and not have to spend vacation time grocery shopping (and prefer not to leave resort). Thank you for your advice.

I think the way most people do this is to take a cab to a grocery store in Nuevo Vallarta. When you get back the bell boy will take the groceries to your room.

Walmart in Nuevo Vallarta does have everything a person would need but we prefer La Comer because it is mainly a grocery store and not an everything store like Walmart.

I wondered about delivery also for my upcoming trip, but my research indicates it's impossible to order delivery to Vidanta from stores like Walmart. Looks like you also cannot order Uber Eats or Uber car to Vidanta. They really want you to spend money on site.

Just returned from Grand Bliss the taxi fare to Wal Mart is 190 Peso's. It really is a lot of work to get out of the resort.
Which Walmart did you go to? The one in Nuevo Vallarta or the one south of the airport in Puerto Vallarta? Thanks

Re : Uber Eats
The resort size & set up precludes this.

The distance from the taxi drop off station to the Grand Luxxe buildings is probably 1/2 a mile.
You take the stretched golf cart style electric shuttles on resort roadways that do not allow cars / your locked luggage cart goes to your building via an underground tunnel system.
There is no viable resort access for outside food delivery & no one wants random non-resort staff wandering around.

Your best option is walking 10 minutes on the beach to access the NV marina area restaurants & Oxxo [ and Uber pick up]
