The Grand Luxxe are larger, more luxurious, units with really large wood decks. They are located in a covey of buildings on one side of the resort. It has it's own pool. They are the top of the food chain at RM.
On the other side of the resort are the Grand Bliss which now also has it's own pool system that I think just opened. The units are smaller but still very nice.
In between the two, are the GM and MP units which are the two levels below the GB and which make up most of the resort.
Neither will have ocean views and both are pretty good hikes or shuttle rides to the pools and beach.
The Grand Bliss shows decks like the Grand Luxxe with the plunge pools. Is this correct? What do you know about the resort fees for each of these places?

Yes, the GB has a nice deck and both have plunge pools. The layouts are basically the same just everything at the GL is just larger and nicer. The GL villa has an extra room also, but I don't think that is what you are comparing.
I stayed at the GB on an exchange. I cannot see how the GL decks could possibly be larger. When I was there the GB pools were not open and the GL pools were off limits to the GBers. I paid no fees to the resort and they offer complimentary transportation from the airport but not back. The T/S update was brutal and we were treated rudely when we insisted on leaving after 3 hours.
I believe both II and RCI now has a $75 resort fee per week stay for each unit for all levels of accommodations. The RCI fee is listed as much higher if you are a resident of Mexico.
