Hi all -

Appreciate everyone's patience as I bring up this topic again...I just don't have the time this week to search on TUG.

Working to help my SIL buy a resale in Breck...she would only consider if she can bring her dog.

Appreciate current GLP7 resale owners chiming in on if dogs are allowed.

Thanks much!

The Kid

From the website but I feel like I've seen warnings that this is only for retail owners?
The Grand Lodge on Peak 7 is dog-friendly for owners only. Service animals are allowed on the property for any guest. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) rule defines a “service animal” as an animal that has been individually trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. An animal whose sole function is to provide emotional support, comfort, therapy, companionship or therapeutic benefits or to promote emotional well-being is NOT a service animal. We appreciate your adherence to Colorado state law. Pets can be kenneled at The Dog House in Breckenridge.

Yes.

But you need to have a dog friendly unit reserved. If you did not specifically reserve a dog-friendly unit, you cannot bring a dog.

Thanks much...I wonder if that really limits reservations for an owner vs one who does not need to bring their dog.

I only have experience reserving Winter Plus season. Good weeks are extremely hard to reserve. If you need President's week or a March break week, don't count on ever being able to reserve any unit, let alone a pet friendly one. I was lucky once to get a March week because I was on the line within one second of the reservations opening, and there were no pet friendly units available.

If you own a Winter season week (not Plus), or any other season, there should be no problem reserving a pet friendly unit. Or should I say dog friendly - dogs are the only pets allowed.

When BGV send you their copy of the confirmation add your pet to it. They want name of dog, breed, weight. If you can’t bring the dog I think they will alert you of such.

It was my understanding that resale owners did not have pet privileges or could not book bonus time.

Hi. What is the difference between Winter Plus and Winter? Is that the 51 - 52 weeks?
So glad I am seeing this post as I am looking at a Grand Timber resale hoping for early Jan/mid March ski vacations and what you are saying is that is not a great idea. If it's a 2/2 LO would I have a good chance with it being ski season in CO of trading on II to get into the weeks I was hoping for? If I had an OGS or stalking II consistently?
Thanks for your feedback.
