This is one fun phone to have. The screen is large, the web browser is great, especially with the pinch-zoom feature. The 1ghz processor helps things zip along at a good pace. Google Navigation is pretty impressive. Overall, a good buy.

Im curious why you selected it over the VZ iPhone and the BB Touch. Not sure it's available in Canada but I do miss the Internet videos on my iPad which might be reason enough to not get an iPhone. I'm due for a new phone and the smartphone field is getting really complicated.

I have service with sprint/nextel and the evo is the best android device they carry.

Sprint is the value play in the u.s. Mobile market so my devices are limited to what they carry.

I am working the late shift tonight...just 30 minutes ago, I was able to go take a break down the block and setup a video call with my family at home (say goodnight to the kiddies, etc.) using my EVO unit on the Sprint 4G network (not WiFi). The call quality was very clear, both video and audio. I was glad I purchased this.

Oh, my coworker got me hooked on Angry Bird - how much fun thoughtless games can be : )
