Is your street on Google Street View?
Chances are yes! However I just realized my little neck of the woods is not visible on Google Street View!
Not for long.

I saw the Google Street View mobile trolling around my development.

Have any of you seen this Google Street View vehicle trolling around your area.
Sort of neat to see this in action.

My husband is one of those guys who loves to putter around the yard and garage, so our picture is blanked out, because he's in the front yard.

My house is on Street View, but the images are 14 years old. Things are quite different these days.

Ugly car! I just got a postcard with my house on it, and a realtor wanting to buy it as is, all cash. Sure.

Right, we received these post cards all the time. I file them in my trash can.

Place a readable sign in front yard that says "Join TUG"

Our Google Street View is over five years old. I can see the photographer shadow in the photo.. The street view photo was taking in the fall months because my fescue grass is dark and looks very healthy.

I didn’t see the Google car but our house, which we moved into in late February, is on street view with DD’s car in driveway.

I can’t remember how I did it, but I asked Google to blur the photo of our house for privacy reasons, and they did.

Lucky outcome! Enjoy your privacy.

The car hasn't made it to our street yet because we live in a rural subdivision. It did go down the village 'main street' a few years ago and my friend can be seen kneeling at her garden planting flowers in her front yard. She laughed when I showed her and said that it was nice of Google to show her backside to the world!
I passed the google car (going in the opposite direction) about 10 years ago on the highway going into Orillia (Ontario) on my way to work but my face isn't visible due to the tinted windows in our car. A co-worker was stopped at a red light a few minutes ahead of me and she was clearly visible in her car on Google Street View for a couple of years. When I looked at our DS's house our old car that we sold in 2015 was in his driveway! I guess we were visiting when the Google car went past.

I have used Google Street View numerous times to check out a timeshare area, the area around a hotel we were booked into or to look and see what an intersection looks like where we need to turn in a new to us area. There are now 'street view' images in most major parks and some tourist attractions that were done with a person wearing the cameras and walking around.

I've done that also.

In Street View, the date of the photo is shown in a box in the upper right corner. Example below (not my address):

In about 2012, I was having lunch at a Maoz on Eighth Avenue near 43rd Street. My seat faced the window, and while I was sitting there, the Google street car toodled by. I saw it, the guy next to me saw it, everybody in the place saw it, and the whole restaurant was abuzz with excitement. Nobody had ever seen one before!

I just went and looked at my house. The picture is from FIVE DAYS AGO!

You made me look. Mine is one week ago and shows my car and DD’s in the driveway!

Ours was a week ago also. I have seen the car riding around the city numerous times.

Here's mine. They offer a range from 2008 to 2011. This is the 2008 version. Love the PortaPotti.

I've seen the google car twice while driving around. Both times I remembered the exact location where I saw it so that I could try looking for my car a few months later. I was able to find the picture of my car at one of the locations, but not the other one.

Looks like they updated our house photo two or three years ago based on the plants. I just check my previous house, and somehow they took the photo from the expressway, and only have a picture of the soundwall that separates the house from the expressway....

I have noted that many of the pictures are years out of date.
