Meteorologists have said the chances are extremely low that this storm will hit the USA for one reason: cold front. Unless you live in or planning on visiting southern Mexico or South America in the next couple weeks, the storm will not affect you.

Exactly. and it is running into some drier air which is inhibiting it from developing. Latest news is that there is a 10% chance of the system even developing into a tropical storm. The weather reports have been mentioning this on the news here in FL -- this is nothing anyone should be worrying about.

I'll take my weather reports from local sources over a website called "Climate Crisis 247" any day.

As of 10 AM Central time today, the National Hurricane Center says Nadine is a post-tropical remnant on the west coast of Mexico, causing heavy rains and flooding. I didn’t open the link you provided, so I don’t know how much out of date it is.
