Did you know that bread is delivered fresh to the stores five days a week? Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturda y.
Each day has a different color twist tie.
They are:
Monday = Blue,
Tuesday = Green,
Thursday = Red
Friday = White
Saturday = Yellow.

So if today was Thursday, you would want red twist tie; not white which is Fridays (almost a week old)!

The colors go alphabetically by color Blue- Green - Red - White - Yellow, Monday through Saturday. Very easy to remember. I thought this was interesting. I looked in the grocery store and the bread wrappers DO have different twist ties, and even the ones with the plastic clips have different colors. You learn something new everyday!
Enjoy fresh bread when you buy bread with the right color on the day you are shopping.

Don't forget Gatorade for Migraine Headaches.
PowerAde won't work.

I thought you just put Windex on everything? :p

They omitted Mother Spit.

Strongest cleaning agent known to man. If Mother Spit and a wash cloth won't take it off, nothing will.

I wanna know how thick to put on the Colgate Toothpaste to keep my glasses from fogging :confused:

And what if you have puffy skin, arthritis, and a fungus - mix together the Preparation H, Vicks Vapo-Rub, and WD 40? Heck, why not just mix all of the things together and have a magic formula that'll take care of all your aches, pains, and cooties!

:rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

I've tried many of these, and they really do the job! New to me is #30 - I've got to try that on my dive mask - spit alone just doesn't cut it!

Wait, was I supposed to put the Elmer's Glue or the mayonnaise in my hair?

I scanned the list again, but didn't see it mentioned where holding a nickel between your knees was a surefire method for birth control.

Perhaps that's another list???:p

OMG, I remember that one!

Hahahahaha!!! Auntie Betty used to tell all us girls that Aspirin was the best form of birth control - "just keep the bottle between your knees and you'll have no worries."

Oh yeah, THAT was it, not a nickel!

Indeed....moma's all purpose spit, the reason I had a crew cut. Better and cheaper than Aqua Net and always applied right before mass.

I had never before heard that. Suddenly the light bulb goes on in my head:

and I finally grok... "Not tonight, Dear. I have a headache."

My bread all has white plastic clips on it.

I'm not sure of some of these. I use candle wax on my eyeglasses or other glass if I want it not to fog up. I "wax on, wax off," just like Karate Kid.

Toothpaste has other uses...it is a mild abrasive, and can be used to remove small scratches on eyeglasses. Dab a little on, then remove with a soft cloth, then water. It should be the white kind, I think, not gel. You can also use it to polish real jewelry or clean the jewelry if it is dirty.

I've done all of these things.

Fern

Thanks
