The way the course is designed there really isn't a 'close-up' view of the greens for the two holes that surround the villas (#9 and #7 of the Ironwood course; search for scorecard online). We like top floor units at Kierland for views over the course towards the mountains in the distance (bldgs. #3 & #5) Not sure if the ground floor units can see the golfers walk by. There are many trees and shrubbery so that blocks some of the view, as well. Bldg. #7 faces west so the sunsets are pretty but not the best if you're coming during the hotter months (June through Sept.). And I'm not sure how the views are onto the course from Bldg. #7 or Bldg. #6, or their relationship to the greens, as we've never stayed in either of those two bldgs. The grounds are beautiful and the walk to the pro shop and the hotel allow for wonderful spots to view golfers. Just maybe not the best from the individual villa patios/balconies. Hopefully someone else can weigh in, as well. Enjoy your stay!
