Hello all:

We will be at Kierland in the next couple of weeks and was wondering if there are any golf courses which you would recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Should be able to get some good discounts this time of year but it will be hot. Sign up with golfnow.com for their email specials. Kierland is good but rarely offers a discount except for twilight rates. I like both of the courses (Faldo, Palmer) at the Marriott resort just to the north. Legend Trails is also nice but a long ride, near Cave Creek. These are just a few, no shortage of good golf courses in Scottsdale.

hello

I live in the phx area and am an avid golfer. Here are some favorites relatively close by. Wildfire (Faldo course), Wekopa, Eagle Mtn, & Gold Canyon. Gold Canyon is my favorite course but is about 45 minutes from Kierland. Lots of elevation changes at the base of the Superstition Mtns. Have fun!

Troon North was one of the prettiest courses I've ever played. It was VERY expensive, but that wasn't the problem. It was the 5+ hour round and cart path only rules (trust me, an Abrams tank could not have hurt those fairways!) that made me swear off it.
