As most of you know I am a big Nashville fan. I am doing a driving trip with my friend Kenny & of course Kelli. For the first few day April 11th,12,13th will be at the Wyndham at the airport ( time share update:ignore: ) Kenny's friend bought a houseboat near Nashville and he will be staying with her. They used to be neighbors so he is looking forward to it. He will rejoin me at the Wyndham Nashville (Sat thru Tues) Kelli & Iwill be going to Lockdown & the VIP Fan Axxcess help at Gaylord Hotel . Looking forward to it!!

My question: Since I am driving I have always wanted to see Falls Creek St Pk. How far out of the way is it? How much time will it add to my trip. Am thinking of doing it on the way back. I could add one more night if I need to but need very economical hotel. I've also thought about driving thru Knoxville to see the dogwoods to break up the trip. I am going to miss the big craft show:bawl: as I will be at Lockdown.

I hope to see some of my old tug buddies again. Anyone want to get together? shaggy

Sorry to say, Shaggy, but the dogwood trees are blooming here right now. Nashville is a little south of us, so they may even have bloomed earlier. By mid April, they may be done blooming.

The drive from Nashville to the park is at least 2 hours. It depends on what you are planning on doing at the park. I have never been to that park, so I can't help with suggestions.

Fiddlesticks. I love waterfalls and just wanted to take pics but I'm not going that far out of the way. Sugarfoot about the Dogwoods. I'll find tons of things to do. shaggy

There is one resort in RCI Points very near Fall Creek Falls. We spent a weekend there and found it very relaxing. Maybe you can check it out on another trip. I think the name is Grandview.
