Gift Rci program

Rci called me yesterday telling me that I have expiring Wyndham points in Rci but only some are extendable but 69000 points can’t be extended. I was told that if I can’t use them, only option is to transfer to Gift Rci program but need to pay $319 to use them
Anyone use this program before? Is the inventory more like last call ?

The form will ask you how many CLUB WYNDHAM® Plus Points you would like to deduct from your RCI subscribing member account to use towards the vacation gift. You can use 100,000, 200,000 or 300,000 Points. The more Points you use, the more vacation options your gift recipient will have to choose from.
