The Hotel Galvez & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel was featured on now-cancelled Discovery Channel series GHOST LAB.

The interesting thing is, Wyndham timeshare owners can reserve that hotel just like any other Wyndham timeshare! Like Worldmark, they haven't released any to the timeshare system yet, as there is no availability within 10 months. Still, if a hotel room does come through, it would be a nice way to enjoy a vacation - in a supposedly haunted hotel!

Guests at Avenue Plaza in New Orleans can tour the Ashley House

The Ashley house, adjacent to the main building of the Avenue Plaza in New Orleans, once housed prisoners of the Civil War, and is reputedly haunted by an ethereal woman in the parlor, a phantom pianist, and footsteps sounding in unoccupied parts of the house. Numerous “cold spots”, unusual electrical disturbances, and doors that are operated by unseen forces have been reported.

I think it's only available through RCI nightly stays. I considered staying there while we were in Galveston before a cruise, but the price of using Nightly stays with Wyndham points was not much different from just paying for a room. We ended up staying elsewhere. Another example for us of how our Plus Partners is a rich man's pipe dream and not really any value for us.

IMHO nightly stays are only good for two reasons.
1. There is no Wyndham in the general area, and
2. You have so many points left that you will lose them or lose them; same for using them for cruising.
