Tuggers I need help!:bawl: We have two accounts with Yahoo, my DH and me. He wanted to get rid of the IM on his account, so we deleted it. Little did I know it also deletes mine and I use it to talk with our kids.

How can I put Yahoo Messenger on my account and leave it off his? Or at best, I will put it back on both of ours and let him just ignore it.

Thank you in advance

Cathy, what do you mean by put it back on your account?

Yahoo messenger is a stand alone program that you log into with your yahoo id and pwd to IM with. If your DH deleted the program on your computer just go to http://messenger.yahoo.com and download and reinstall the program.

If you don't want the program you can also just IM using a web browser. If so, go to http://webmessenger.yahoo.com (This method has a lot fewer features that the full program however, but allows you to IM if on the road etc and don't have your regular computer.)

If you don't want IM and it appears in your PC tray - Just right click on the icon and disable it (go to preferences and say you don't want it on at startup)so it does not come on at pc startup. It is not necessary to do anything else.

Thank you both!
