Gatlinburg, TN Town Square Floating weeks reservation

So as a hopeful II trader I picked up a week in a 2BR LO here. When it transferred to me (with MF due) it already had been booked by the previous owner over July 4th. I'm guessing this means you can call and reserve before MFs are paid (though I have assumed MFs must be paid to exchange). Does anyone know if you call a year in advance, or ... what is the timeframe? All my other TS are book online or a fixed week. I guess July 4th is a good week to reserve for II exchanges - the previous owner thought it was.

I just picked up 2BR LO EOY, so I'm very interested in hearing what others say. Did Exploria send you a welcome packet? My deed was recorded over 3 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything from them.

They did, but I had to call anyway to get the initial password "reset" link. The "packet" wasn't really very helpful. It did take like 3 months to fully process - which for TSs sadly is "fast"!
