getting ready to head down to Universal for the week and see gas heading down in my area and using gasbuddy.com i see cheap gas in SC especially at the sams club in Florance off exit 160a.. today it $3.19 gal

gas futures were down to $2.56 today after the DOW got hit. it will go back up some but that is good news.. in a couple week we should see low 3 to high 2 dollar gallon gas.. depending on state gas tax.. in NC we have .266 per gallon plus .184 federal.. to see your state go to http://www.gaspricewatch.com/usgastaxes.asp

i hope everyone uses the gasbuddy site to find and you can report the gas prices in your area or the route for travels.. I find it quite accurate for the most part..

see you at WWOHP next week.. :cheer:

[just found]

they have a free app for finding gas for your phone..
http://gasbuddy.com/GasBuddyMobileApps.aspx

I have not tried it but will be loading on phone for trip down to test out.. according to some reviews it works good.

Yeah, headed down.
$3.889 from around the corner from my house which tends to be the lowest for some miles around.

Down to $3.399 here today.

Never thought about using gasbuddy for trips. Great idea. Gas prices aren't falling fast enough.

Ours are heading up. $3.659, up a nickel this week. The TV guy announced last night that our gas prices here are 5th highest in the nation. I'm SO proud.

I just saw $3.09 at Sam's and HEB in our area. HEB is a new store that just opened a week or so ago across from Sam's and they are keeping Sam's prices down. To bad I didn't need any gas.

Lansing, MI Sam's Club is $3.14 today....a great price since other areas of Michigan are in the $3.40's and $3.50's.
