Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with buying this timeshare on resale? Specifically, are any of the benefits lost when purchased via resale? Any advice and tips are appreciated.

Definitely go for it. This is an awesome place and i'm sure you will have no problems even with resale. I will reply with more details to your message when I am at my laptop. My phone won't allow me to private message you for some reason. I can give you more details when I get home.
 
Thanks! I just heard from someone at the resort in PV and they told me I lose the points status with resale and I just get a floating week (no points to split, no preferred points) similar to what they are doing with the new VPA membership at the Villa Del Palmar timeshare divisions. This would be a real bummer considering Garza is supposed to be a high end timeshare.

I asked their San Diego office for a copy of the bylaws to read for myself but any info or tips would be appreciated.
