Just so you know, the bonus week will stay in your RCI Acct. - your RCI Acct. stays with you.

If you keep paying the RCI membership fee and don't tell them you sold your timeshare, you can keep using it for cheap Getaway rentals.

Vacation Village At Parkway Is Outstanding.

Free Vacation Village at Parkway
That's the resort where we caught the timeshare bug on a 2002 sales tour of the place, which was just getting started back then. The model units were mock-ups installed in trailer-like temporary buildings. (Those tempo buildings are still on the site, most likely used for offices or something else these days. Demo units are now in the regular timeshare buildings.)

We liked it so well that we eventually bought there (resale) 10+ years later -- eBay all the way.

Actually I want to ask if anyone knows anyone sold/bought similar unit/week with some significant money. Is there a place to search for past transactions of similar timeshares?

Significant Is As Significant Does.

I want to ask if anyone knows anyone sold/bought similar unit/week with some significant money.
Our outstanding Vacation Village At Parkway triennial points unit came from eBay for $250 or so.

Included in the amount we paid were free closing, free resort transfer, & free points (i.e., 2 years of paid-ahead maintenance fees).

We learned (the hard way) that there are 3 demand seasons for points units at Vacation Village At Parkway -- 55,000 points & 74,000 points & 92,500 points annually.

For triennials like ours, those work out to 18,500 points (dinky) & 24,667 points (semi-dinky) & 30,833 points (non-dinky) per year.

The thing is, maintenance fees are all the same irrespective of points value or demand season. But we didn't know that till after we had bought an eBay dinky points unit & later an eBay semi-dinky points unit at Vacation Village At Parkway. Those cost us about $150 each (free closing, free transfer, & free points included).

When we caught on that maintenance fees are all the same for all Vacation Village At Parkway points values, we gave away our dinky & semi-dinky triennial points units. We still own our non-dinky triennial points unit.

Every time we have vacationed at Vacation Village At Parkway, however, it has been in somebody else's unit via RCI Last Call or Instant Exchange or special sale on Extra Vacation Getaways, not our own paid-for unit.

We still like Vacation Village At Parkway just fine, & will eagerly vacation there again next time we can snag 1 of those super low-cost RCI reservations. Till then, we're content to stay in other people's units at Wyndham Cypress Palms, Orbit One Vacation Villas, Magic Tree Resort, etc. -- whatever we can snag via RCI Last Call & Instant Exchange & Extra Vacation Getaway when those are on sale.

Timeshare vacationing is great. Icing on the cake is staying in luxury timeshare condos at Motel 6 & Super 8 rates.

We have a week based RCI account. I'm not sure if it can be converted to points.

Getting A Weeks Unit Converted To Points Costs Major Money.

We have a week based RCI account. I'm not sure if it can be converted to points.
Sure it can be converted to points -- for big bux.

If you want a Vacation Village At Parkway points unit, it's lots cheaper to buy 1 already converted (& that stays converted upon resale) via eBay.

Full Disclosure: Our eBay Vacation Village At Parkway triennial points unit cost us approximately $250 -- free closing, free resort transfer, free points (i.e., paid ahead maintenance fees). We paid $98 more to get it added to our existing RCI Points account. Is this a great country or what ?
