I'm tweaking our timeshare "portfolio" and am offering a free oceanview annual studio (Mitla suite, Weeks 1-50 - not including Easter weeks) at the Royal Villas Resort in Mazatlan, Mexico. For more information and reviews on Trip Advisor - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...yal_Villas_Resort-Mazatlan_Pacific_Coast.html

I will pay resort transfer fees. This is a RCI Gold Crown resort on the beach, right in the middle of Mazatlan's Golden Zone (Zona Dorado). It is a smaller, all-inclusive optional resort, and we've enjoyed it for many years, but it's time to try something else. We've never used the all-inclusive option, as we enjoy eating in our favorite restaurants while in Mazatlan. We generally go during Mazatlan's Carnival the week before Lent (great fun!) or over Thanksgiving.

The RTU expires in 2022. Our contract allows us to accelerate usage from the end of the contract to use several weeks in one year, or internally bank our weeks for use anytime before the end of the contract. Maintenance fees this year (2010) were $398.

Please send me a private message if interested. Thanks. Pam

Shameless "bump"

"Bump" and a question - Where are all the Canadians here on TUG? Royal Villas (and Mazatlan in general) is very popular with Canadians in winter - I've never seen so many Canadians in one place other than Canada! I'm Canadian by birth, but live in the US midwest - my husband laughs that Mazatlan is Canada across our southern border.

Royal Villas is popular because of it's flexible usage rules, it's in a great location, it's kept up beautifully, and the MF's are stable and very reasonable. Unfortunately, the airfare from Springfield, MO to Mazatlan has gotten crazy expensive!
