I have a $25 certificate to Thoroughbred's Chopouse & Seafood Restaurant in Myrtle Beach, SC. In order to use it you must spend at least $35 on food. We were just there but were unable to use it as we had reservations for the last night of our stay and then we had car trouble so had to cancel. The certificate is good until Feb 10, 2008 (one year from date I purchased it) and I would be happy to send it to anyone at no cost who is going to Myrtle Beach between now and then. Why waste a good certificate. Just send me a PM with your name and address and I will put it in the mail on Monday. Linda

That's a generous offer but you can also let them know you can't use it and it they will often give you a mega certicifcate to choose a different one anywhere.

According to the certificate you have 90 days to exchange the dining certificate for a Restaurant.com certificate which I interpret to mean I can no longer exchange this for anything...do you know otherwise?

I've called them in the past with issues and they've been helpful.

Monday through
Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, Central Standard Time.

Just call toll free: 1.800.979.8985.
(9:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. CST, Monday through Friday)

I live in the area and would take it off your hands if there's no other alternative.

After 40+ years of T/S ownership, I am no longer "an owner"
I too have had to cancel use of a restaurant.com certificate after the 90 day purchase window and they've been kind in allowing me a credit for another, as previously mentioned.

Thanks for the tip on getting credit for my unusable certificate. I emailed restaurant.com today and they responded almost instantly with a credit. Now I have 4 credits...wonder where I will use them...Linda:cheer:
