Location
The Hamptons, NY
Resorts Owned
Marriott/Abound/Vistana, Morritt's Seaside, Former WSJx5 & Bluegreen160K
Floating Weeks: 9-26, 29-44 (Platinum Season) 2BR

Next use: 2026 - I will be making a reservation for 6/28-7/5/26 that will transfer with ownership

Maintenance fees 2025: $2,347.31

Member of the Florida Club - every year at 6 months out I reserve oceanfront 1BR and Studio at Marriott’s Ocean Pointe in February/March. I use it, deposit in Interval International or rent these units.

If you follow the TUG Sightings Board, this is the unit I use to search & post my sightings

Closing costs and transfer fees are to be paid by the buyer - preferred closing company LT Transfer - fee would be under $400

Buyer to pay maintenance fees for first year of usage - 2026 fees are billed in November 2025 for payment January 2026

Great ownership, I am just downsizing.

@GrayFal? Marriott is not al all interested in buying at ROFR?

And you have never had a problem getting a reservation at Ocean Pointe in Feb or March 6 months out?

I would rather give it to a TUGer, it will likely pass ROFR and go to Buyer.
Never ever an issue getting OP or BP at 6/7 months out.
I have 3 Florida Club weeks.

Was this ever enrolled or was it external always ?

Was this ever enrolled or was it external always ?
I purchased this resale after June 2010, so no.
Resale weeks are not eligible for enrollment in Abound.

Yes, I am aware. I’m just wondering if it was ever enrolled it was always an external week. Is it currently external or is it currently enrolled?

It doesn't sound like it is currently enrolled, but I am not sure if it makes a difference. It can't be enrolled straight up upon resale. It could be enrolled by making a purchase from Marriott Vacation Club and having it enrolled as part of the deal.

Same answer, I purchased this resale after June 2010 so no, not enrolled, never enrolled, not eligible for enrollment.

All resale weeks purchased after June 2010 are not eligible for enrollment. So you don’t seem aware.

Why do you ask? What difference does it make as this would be a resale week even if it were currently enrolled.

Can be enrolled with 3000 point retail purchase

Yes, @dioxide45 stated that a deal can be worked out with retail purchase.
If that is your goal, it it likely better to look at a hybrid package from Marriott where the week purchased has a high Abound Point value and brings down the per point price.
Or buy a high Abound point resale week to enroll with your points purchase.

Units found on the Free board are not likely to be that type of unit.

Or take this unit and use it to trade into high Abound value weeks.

I used this unit to trade into Kauai Beach Club oceanfront one bedroom worth over 4,000.
And Waiohai 2BR ocean view worth 5,000.

There are many ways to work this system.
