Hilton is a great flexible program. This is an inexpensive way to get into the Hilton system, which treats resale owners well. Points may be used at anytime, for any size unit, and at any of the legacy clubs and affiliate properties, including Honolulu, Hawaii's Big Island, Maui, Orlando, Las Vegas, Miami, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Carlsbad CA, Breckenridge, Chicago, D.C., Scotland, Portugal. In odd years, you may borrow points from the next year. You can also trade points for Hilton Honors points to use at hotels or trade for other properties through RCI. Plus you have access to open season nightly rates sometimes for less than hotel rates. Hilton has right of first refusal, but has not been using it.
