FREE DRI/HVC 21,500 points

DRI/HGV points
We own 3 separate contracts with DRI/HVC
#1 was gifted to us by my parents US Collection 11,000 points
#2 we purchased US collection 6000 points
#3 we purchased HI collection 4500 points

All are mortgage free, we are on a monthly payment plan for 2026 points & are up to date (just paid March payment). Our maintenance fees total $479/month. There are about 6900 points left for this year (we used some in Jan for a cruise). We would be willing to pay off the 2026 fees, and GIFT you the remaining points if you will pay 1/2 of the transfer fees (not sure how much those are honestly) & the whole 21,500 points will be yours going forward. Note these are hilton vacation club, not hilton grand vacations. a slight but very significant difference!
 
Resell HCV/DRI Points can only be used to Book into their Home Collection. That is one big reason resell HCV/DRI Points have little to no resell value. If some one bought these 3 separate Contracts they would end up with 17,000 Points that can only be used to Book directly into the US Collection and 4,500 Points that can only be used to Book directly in the Hawaiian Collection. Can not do much with 4,500 Points in the Hawaiian Collection.

Well....HVC is part of Hilton Grand Vacations. It just isn't HGVC. Way to go HGV for making it all so easy.

I did not know this! If I gift them to someone, is it the same way? they were purchased as Diamond, which is now Hilton, I don't know if it's Hilton Grand Vacations (that is what it says it is when I log into my account), or Hilton Vacation Club, I just know they used to be Diamond & I had no idea they won't transfer to be able to use freely! thanks for the info

Even if you gift them to someone the resale restriction remains. The only way around that is to give it pass it down to children or perhaps grand children. What you own is called Hilton Vacation Club.

its a common issue for sure, one we are certain was done intentionally! most owners dont even know the difference!

Might want to consider just stop paying and have them foreclosed.
 
Even though they're supposed to be only usable in the US collection, I'd think they could be deposited into DeX and then you'd have Tier credits that could be used anywhere. That said, there are lots of people who'd be happy to travel just in the US.

Not resale HVC trust points. Retail points, and deeded ownership, then yes.
