Trip Report: Our trip to Timbers at Island Park

Timbers at Island Park is a rustic mountain condo located on a well-maintained golf course, which has very low golf fees!
The resort is currently being refurbished and we have paid the special assessment in-full.
2 bedroom - 2 bath

Many outdoor activities: parks, historic locations, wildlife and scenic sightseeing nearby.
The West Yellowstone airport is nearby.

How much was the Special Assessment you paid? Was that enough to do the renovation for all units?

Has it been renovated? When we were there in September, the front desk said it hadn't been renovated, yet.

It seems the photo you showed was a one bedroom unit that has been renovated. No - it's a 2-bdm - #26, and I took that picture while we were staying in it.

How much was the Special Assessment you paid? I think it was $700 x 2. We paid it in-full.

Was that enough to do the renovation for all units? I have no idea - I have only owned it 2 years, and I've only been there once.

Again, is the board controlled by Capital Vacations and is forcing owners to convert to points as they did to other resorts they manage? I have no idea - we have received no communication about any kind of conversion.
