Well, we did it. Actually we've been looking for a Foxrun at Lake Lure but with the unit offered and week we decided to buy at Foxhunt at Sapphire Valley. It's a bit longer trip for us (from Pa) but want to take our grandkids to the mountains. We will have unit 1551 which is lakeview (small lake) and only has 4 steps to enter. I understand that it is a beautiful part of N.C. I only feel bad about their not having a lazy river but then I heard that the one at Lake Lure is quite small.
Any opinions on Sapphire Valley? We got a deal for $1 and free closing. How could we resist.
DH made me promise "no more timeshares" but then he said that when we bought at Hershey last year........

We looked at Foxhunt a long time ago when it was new. I'm glad we didn't buy then. This summer we bought a unit at Foxrun Lake Lure for $56, $300 closing cost. Its week 26 and has a great view of the lake.

Pat, there are lots of things to do in the Sapphire area, including my fav. waterfalls!! & gem mining. I think you & the grandkids will love this area.

Thanks Shaggy
I am thrilled to get this.....and can't beat the price $41 with resort transfer fee. The resort looks to be beautifully renovated. SPM is a top-notch management company.
The location of our unit is wonderful and I've explored the area and we are going to love it and be very busy.
Now I have to behave and not look at any more ebay sales!!! :ponder:
