On the owners website there is a link to Hawaiian Airlines that used to provide a discount for when purchasing thru MVC. I just tried it today and the discount is not showing up. I know Hawaiian just changed their website on 10/1. I wonder if they broke the link? Is anyone aware of this issue? Will try to call the Owner support to see if they know anything of it there is a code they can provide I can enter on the Hawaiian website. My hunch is the URL changed to some extent the the link with the embedded code is broken....

I recall Vistana having a similar arrangement. Though, I can't even find it on the Vistana owner site to try the link.
 
Yup, Vistana offered 5% off, but I could never find a way to actually save using it compared to the market rate.
 
Well I called owner relations. They had no clue what I was talking about. I asked the rep to open up a ticket with their IT team to investigate….
 
I think Hawaiian airlines is flying its last flight pretty soon and rebranding to Alaska right?

Would love any discount but I mainly just use my companion tickets on Alaska for that

My understanding is that for now even though it is one airline with one operating certificate they will still be operating many flights, particularly the interisland ones, under the Hawaiian name. Of course it does make sense that within the next few years they will dispense with that branding for more unified marketing.

The Hawaiian brand will remain, as stipulated in the purchase agreement. Hawaiian Airlines is the largest private employer in the state of Hawaii.

However, since their website, credit cards, and loyalty program have all changed. I would not be surprised to see them drop some of the affiliate programs like this one.

Starwood hotels also offered a special rate, but I always found better rates elsewhere. It seems like it was a discount off full fares.

To me, the updated HA website is not accepting the Affiliate code based on the changes they made or they communicated to MVC they needed to update the link....going to email MVC with this new information....
 
I contacted support via email, will know if/when I get an update....up to 7 business days to respond!!!! That nuts!

Using the Alaska Airlines companion fare is one of the best ways to save money getting to hawaii
 
Just tried it, seems like the issue is on the Hawaiian side, they link comes up, but enter the code and you get page not found….Marriott told me to contact Hawaiian myself. I told them it is a benefit we pay for and they need to chase down the issue and get it resolved….Hawaiians IT shop is no better than MVC. Personally I did this for my career, if we had an issue like this, no sleep until resolved….things sure have changed…
