Taking a Fla Keys drive to Key west from Miami, looking for nice places to stay along the keys before getting to key west.

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

I can't recommend a place to stay but I will recommend a stop at Mangrove Mama's at around Mile Marker 20. Excellent food and excellent key lime pie. Not quite as good as mine but still very good. :)

Hotel would be best

We've done that drive a few times. Last drive, we had the time to stop Alabama Jack's and then drive to a Holiday Inn express in Key Largo , with a good bar/restaurant at the rear of the property and a good sea food place across the road (not sure t is still there). There are plenty of places, all are a little expensive and likely all busy.
