Flooding at Wyndham Nashville
CANCELLING ARRIVALS THROUGH MAY 16, 2010

As you may be aware, the Nashville, Tenn., area has experienced heavy rains, resulting in severe flooding from the Cumberland River which has reached the Wyndham Nashville resort. A mandatory evacuation of Wyndham Nashville has been ordered to ensure the safety of our guests and employees. We feel it is in your best interest that we suspend new arrivals to this resort until May 16, 2010. If you have a reservation and have not yet spoken to one of our Vacation Planning Counselors please call 1-800-251-8736 and we will be happy to answer your questions or assist you with another reservation.

... and you waited until May 18th to post this? A little late to the party, it seems.

I hope everyone there was ok...

How sad for any body to get flooded. I hope everyone was safe.

I believe we were just remodeling or updating that resort. I wonder how bad it was? And here I bought midwest resorts not worrying about earthquakes or hurricanes.

Again the flooding was a tragedy for all those in Ten that suffered and their friends and families. I am sure insurance will cover any damage but it is the human costs that are so tragic.

We saw some photos from the resort, and having just stayed there over Chirstmas, my DH said that it looked to him that the unit we were in was probably 4 feet deep in water inside. That much standing/moving water can do a lot of damage in short time.
