Flights from Puerto Vallarta to Cabo San Lucas

Has anyone flown from PV to SJD or vice versa? Thinking of doing this to enjoy two different resorts. Looks like the only flights available through a major airline go through Mexico City.

Most likely correct. There is a ferry rom cabo to Mazatlan. Or was.

What about cabo to Guadalajara?

It is quite a distance from PV to Mazatlan. You could take the bus to get to Mazatlan. The ferry goes to La Paz now and travels at night, so another bus ride.

We did that once and will never do it again. At that time we connected thru Guadalajara but I think those flights no longer exist. The reason we chose not to do it again was losing an entire day plus the expense of the flight to do so. Now we alternate between Cabo and PV doing 2 weeks in PV one year and then 2 in Cabo the next which works perfectly for us!

We did that a couple of years ago. Connected thru Mexico City. If you are a senior citizen, Aeromexico gives a discount but you have to call to get it.

There is a direct flight from PVR to CSL (not SJD) on Aereo Calafia. Smaller jets but they seem to be doing pretty well. We haven't flown them yet but will be using them on our return flight in January to Leon. That route does use SJD as arrival/departure.

Aero Callafia not longer flies between PV and Mazatlan

Sadly they have cancelled that route. They do fly PV to Cabo.
