This is the only thing that keeps me coming back to Flamingo is the designated parking for HGVC guests in the self parking garage. Level 4 & 5 and close to the elevator. As more and more hotels are charging for their self-park, just good to know it's still free at Flamingo. Elara is a much better location on the strip but no designated parking.

I love the location of the Flamingo property. It also has a nicely heated pool which my kids loved. Although the Blvd seems nicer, bigger pool and just away from strip, their pools were freezing in March. Much prefer the Flamingo.

Do any of the HGVC properties in LV currently charge for parking? Flamingo is my favorite location as well, but it had been a few years since we have been there.

Both the LV Strip and Karen Ave properties have had free self parking and, I assume they still do. The LV Strip location offers valet parking for a daily rate. I have not heard what will happen with Elera's parking. They use Planet Hollywood's parking garage and it was my understanding that pay-to-park was coming to that location. We were there last October and it was still free but, pay-to-park hadn't happened at Planet Hollywood as of that date. We don't do tours so we didn't ask and, even if we had asked, it would have been a salesman and who knows how much truth would have been in the answer.

When MGM began charging to park we got the MGM credit card. We use it strictly for purchases at MGM properties and for the free parking perk the card offers. If they start charging for parking in the parking garage utilized by Elera guests I suppose we'll look into getting Harrah's version of a credit card, assuming it offers the free parking perk as well.

I would think that Elara will do something similar to HGVC Flamingo or HGVC Paradise and give you a card to get out of the parking garage without having to pay.

Apparently Westgate only charges when something big is happening at the Convention Center. The last time we stayed at HGVC Paradise they gave us a few cards to get out of the garage at no charge. There was a big convention going on that week.

I have not had to use it but the Caesars Total Rewards credit card gives you Platinum status with Caesars; your Platinum Total Rewards card has free parking as a perk.

Just got back from Flamingo yesterday. We still love that location and the Linq. The one advantage of Elara is that the best breakfast deal is still at Miracle Mile shops. Still not a far walk from Flamingo, and great breakfast for our two days at the Mexican place!

Cheers.
