Have any Tuggers gone through Financial Peace University? We are currently doing it at our church. I haven't heard anything new, yet. We are about 4 weeks in. I've been working most of those principles for a couple years, but my husband never has. I am hoping that he will get with the program since he is in the course and seems totally impressed by it. Most of the stuff seems common sense to me, but my husband has always had a need to be in debt.

Just wondering if anyone has gone through it and still thought their timeshares were worth keeping? If I didn't already have what I have, I'd probably still feel that Worldmark is a good thing to own, but probably not any others. I won't be offloading everything now. I plan on continuing to use them until all other debt is paid off and we can buy a travel trailer for cash. Then, it will be easier to go places with our dogs in tow and timeshares won't be needed. At least that is the thought at this time.

Dave Ramsey has come up previously on TUG, so you can search for some feedback there. He presents his courses with a Christian perspective, but the financial concepts really apply to anyone. I've done his one day course in the past, and I'm a supporter, but you're going to hear from some that are not supporters, I'm sure.

And on timeshares, if I remember correctly he discusses timeshare from a "retail" perspective and not resale.
