Fiesta Americana Cancun - Help!

Considering a trip to Cancun - friends are staying at Westin Lagunamar, but they're kinda pricey for renting a hotel room for a couple of weeks. So we're looking into staying at FA Cancun.

There's not much in TUG Resort reviews -- one from 2023, which has interesting information about the surroundings but not much about the resort. And then one from 2013 where they were very disappointed. Would like to know more about this resort -- is it really old and tired, as per the 2013 review. Has anybody stayed there in recent years who can provide a better feeling?

You may have better luck asking this in the Mexico timeshare forum. Here’s one post. There are at least 2 FA Cancun. One is Villas and one is Condesa. Condesa would be slightly closer to Westin.

Fiesta Americana Villas Cancun?

I am thinking about a two week vacation at Fiesta Americana Villas Cancun. Are there planned activities at the resort? How are the pools and beach? I looked at some pictures on www.oyster.com Any advice or tips about the resort is appreciated. Thank you. Cynthia T. :)
