ff points use question

We have not taken a vacation in 2006, therefore we still have all our 2006 points remaining. We are taking a vacation next year 2007. It is a trip we will need 2 years of points to take. I understand with ff when you make a reservation it uses the use year points (2007) even if you make the reservation in 2006. Is there any way to make the reservation using 2006 and 2007 points through ff? or do i have to bank with II?

Not at this moment. For 2006 point, you probably will have to deposit to II, or rent it out (if they are regular points). If you need to plan a trip in 2007 that requires 2 years point, you can credit pool all your 2008 points and use them with 2007 point. Since you has to put them into credit pool before the use year starts (gold+ VIP can wait till 6 month year year starts), so you can not do the same to your 2006 points. But if you deposit it to II, you can use the 2006 deposit to II to get a 2008 exchange.
