Really sick of Festiva Management of Blue Ridge Village. We own a week 23, which I deposited into TP Maui for an exchange in the future to Maui Lea at Maui Hill. At first they wouldn't accept the deposit at all, and it took many attempts and finally a phone call from me to confirm the deposit.

Now, they aren't acknowledging paperwork from TP Maui of the guest name for the fixed week we own.

I called yesterday and left a message with the resort to appeal to the onsite manager, and I have yet to get a call back.

If your resort is thinking of going with Festiva, I would strongly suggest NOT going forward.

I cannot stand Festiva for other reasons. I paid my MF's well ahead of the due date, and apparently they don't send a statement of any kind if you have paid fees for the current use year. I am wondering if the estimated amount of MF's was sufficient to actually pay the fees for next year, or if I owe a little more money. Maybe that is why they are holding back on TP Maui. It's anyone's guess.

On the estimated fees, it should be the same amount as the current year. That is all they have to go on. Did you log in to your online account and check your balance owed?

That portal doesn't work for me. I tried it, reset my password, and it says to enter, you have to agree to the terms and conditions, so I click on it at the bottom of the page, and it says:

I finally logged into the site with ie, instead of Google Chrome, and it worked. Don't owe anything. I just think they are dragging their feet on that deposit. TP Maui has someone for the week.

Noticed on my account that we supposedly are a "no show" every year because we deposit our week into II.

Are you trying to deposit it more than 1 year from check-in? Sorry to hijack the thread but one of my resorts was recently bought by Festiva and I was wondering if I can prepay and deposit more than 12 months out. What is strange is my week shows as fixed in II even though it is a float. Last year I just deposited it from the II side and it went through fine. I was on short notice so reserving a better week didn't matter. For 2015 I am inclined to just prepay and try and deposit since it shows as fixed but it is 23 months out. II shows it as available to deposit. To confuse matters Festiva is handling the money but the old management company is still handling reservations.

Thoughts? Should I just pay and try it?

I concur. Festiva is almost as bad as Wastegate.

Have they wormed their own cronies into control of the HOA board? If not, I would also strongly object to them.
