I am trying to give away my Festiva Adventure Club points membership for free. I will pay for the closing costs and the resort transfer fees. I have the resort transfer document, but I do not know what to do about a transfer agreement between me and a buyer. Since my membership is not a deeded timeshare, but a right to use timeshare, the resort does't require a deed.

I do not know how to transfer the membership to a buyer. Do I need to create a document that explains the terms of the exchange between me & him & have it notarized or do I need to have a lawyer prepare the proper document?

I have 6,500 points with Festiva & 10,077 RTX points. The annual maintenance fee this year is $1,606.50.& is due this month. RTX is a part of Festiva where unused Festiva points can be banked for future use.
