Fairways of Palm Aire

I have traded for a two bedroom unit at Fairways of Palm Aire for later this month, and have been told our unit is at the Queen Palms building, which is apparently across the street and completed outside of the main gated complex. Has anyone stayed at this building and is this a problem? I have two kids 10 and 12, and although it sounds like it is near a golf course, I am not happy that we are staying outside the main resort. Any thoughts...
