I am considering a resale of FF points. The usage is biannual, and the seller is quoting $73 maintenance charge per month. He is saying it is every month, but that doesn't seem right to me since usage is biannual and that would put maintenance charges at $1600 for the unit.

Can someone with a biannual FF points resort tell me how billing works.

An example: if you own 126,000 point EOY, then Fairfield will bill you for 63,000 points every year. In fact, if this is a UDI deed, the deed will be for 63,000 points but to be used EOY for 126,000 points.

The maintenance fees you pay are for the 63,000 points every year. If this is a Florida FF resort, you will also pay taxes every year.

The taxes are billed separately. I just paid mine yesterday, they are due by 11/9. My other FL resort includes them in with the MF's, so it's a FF thing not a FL thing.
