Greetings fellow timesharers.

A few years ago I purchased 6,000 points with WorldMark. I rarely use it and despite the convincing sales presentation WM doesn’t match my vacation adventures—I prefer to swim with fish aka scuba dive.

I want to sell my point but I am not sure what the fair market value is. I looked at some listing which vary widely probably related to the sellers motivations.

Would any have selling suggestions?

Not much if anything. The easiest way to see what yours is worth is to search completed eBay listings. People can list stuff for whatever they want, but completed eBay listings show you what they actually sold for:

Here’s one for 7,000 credits that sold for $1: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335201231142?hash=item4e0b8ce126:g:yzoAAOSwXrpiiN25&amdata=enc:AQAIAAAAwN98gccvvoC/OOcrnIcnGnL8St8FEu9XXuyoAJiUPqA8smzVm9AwLgnx3m5r+A9EGJ924gl7J2EN0q8tOPxwgO01UYTznWT9fCcUdXExUpNAKgcjcmbgHyhVrZeGOsjrx6lfU8bCl0eN1F4KKF8o9U87rMI9rD6grs+rfXVGeniIyyoQkcbS4YXyglAvL8l61Fy+2jj5hfdEZaSRySbbfMf2jC7XT8i5QVveAIx3w1N5SSbgvN7xJ30gAxOBeKek3Q==|tkp:Bk9SR8b04cyyYw

Here’s one for 12,000 credits that sold for only $499 and the seller paid closing costs: https://www.ebay.com/itm/296188440396?hash=item44f634ef4c:g:mgAAAOSw731kQVWB&amdata=enc:AQAIAAAAwLrOxoVWrnWgjkjaGOK11dKF+YkAunydg356PHtjne+MW2icyK/n0EpM0wKmzBkXBCAVG30mrg9PDUmL2E9VyHtLlZ21O//VSUeuGOtmPlrkxs3Rdt5Zf45pv90ZjrSrCdGiSi4zZWjm4P6DAu7GEMOsg7iSxA3eBTZZ6SXgrmo36dq4VWRCuZyUAgAjqxaG/Nox1AI2PmGLMek8uFrhXKpKuURLf0UL45D7Qe0mW4YNamBCb7+gs4n4PEJGj1JGlg==|tkp:Bk9SR8T04cyyYw so the seller **maybe** netted $100

Here’s one for 21,000 credits that sold for $1500, but the seller paid closings costs AND the resort transfer fee so the seller netted **maybe** $700:

Here’s one for 6,000 credits (like yours) that sold for $459: https://www.ebay.com/itm/315132813117?hash=item495f611f3d:g:2z8AAOSwPcVVyRYu&amdata=enc:AQAIAAAA4GBjPRJOv5dsJj2doQcMJIRRk/gVrvDZNu4JqGwXff/zmrAOGOpGsKlCfeGdbXm2Dghzh53oyeJfZ6LoPUfbmH/dfENs0ttbGon0tCgYacjfQwKleg/wn2AHwtCPoJ0eztbYjCkvY1gw8AWUl1KZXQcFAGO2oYTHTu22Np4tTrMMDhrsrZ7ghEFV6egTITs5Y5A2NXmEuCsxvZ0tqBMbBO2hH0wFbeJ+sJ5wD2JgYlYFJ5s5TZIE0XD+OEeSamUfl2cEdgGK24Gy/tWDer5NGM/Z73LKkRidBYgECmPKvF7k|tkp:Bk9SR8b04cyyYw

Here’s one for 20,000 that sold for $247.50: https://www.ebay.com/itm/335200968928?hash=item4e0b88e0e0:g:yzoAAOSwXrpiiN25&amdata=enc:AQAIAAAAwGhhcjgdqDY2ycy1CltOBuiXvNXzyA60amTOs23LxENxh1B6MlmddWcl0tHQUICNI6ri5LRt9u2W2LcOD/SGh7zsgHjg3q4Pr0WETSfHOq+wfEjqxYy16hOxSqrIFe9atXdcxiZ2qrnxx6btCH8tfv1gEvrZlIYF5uv5j5syFJPVxrARk6yVXeKIT9r0YDOP+f4aRlwLS8DrjsPjQeISSRvQ+FC6Q+vYOEAysSezu4mqil34+jVSWn+gjbPyHd5PDg==|tkp:Bk9SR8b04cyyYw

Note, those were all reputable eBay resellers with good feedback. If you try to sell it yourself you likely won’t do as well. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Check out www.wmowners.com/forum. Some Memberships have sold for 10 cents or less per Credit over the last 6 months.

Consider yourself luck If you can find a buyer to pay the resort transfer fee of $399 and $500 to $1000 for the 6000 credits.
