Extra points- a good cause

Hi everyone
I’m looking for a Hilton Grand Vacations stay and hoping someone might have unused points or a guest certificate they’re not planning to use. I’m looking for something close to Orlando Health hospital as I have appointments there for radiation therapy.

If you have extra points or a guest stay available, I’d be deeply grateful. I’m happy to cover any guest fees and be respectful of your time and process. This would truly help me out more than I can say.

Please message me if you’re open to it or even just want to talk options—I’m flexible.

FYI the good news is there are LOADS of timeshares in Orlando and they are often available in Interval & RCI for very low pricing to owners. Do you have an owner friend that could book these for you? They may not be Hilton’s or Marriotts, btw, but there are TONS of Orlando timeshares.

I really appreciate the question—I'm just asking for HGV because I’m familiar with their staff and how their guest process works. Being sick right now makes it hard to manage surprises, so I’m just trying to keep it simple and safe for everyone involved. I’m truly thankful for any kindness or help.

I actually have no family to rely on, and staff at some of the HGV resorts have doubled as this for me during my diagnosis process. It isn't about the place, but the people. And someone nearby when I am sick or need help quickly. Peace of mind....

If they are so accommodating
Why not ask them? My personal experience while dealing with a son with childhood leukemia is that the hospital, social workers etc can easily help accommodate your needs. Sorry … I’ll pray for you, I’m confident you truly need that

Charlotte, the units I’m talking about available on RCI & Interval can be booked with cash vs points. If you have friends with timeshares this may be worth it to you (it will still cost you but will be pennies compared to hotels)

Because I’m already familiar with the staff, the layout, and the safety of some properties. When someone is sick or vulnerable—especially navigating invisible or neglected illness—familiarity isn’t “picky.” It’s survival strategy.

What’s going on?
I’m trying to survive and asking for help is hard enough to ask strangers. No one should have to give out personal records just to access help. I'm not asking for money. I’m simply trying to rest somewhere safe, temporarily. I am sorry that the world has made you distrust.

If my post makes you uncomfortable, I understand. But what I don’t accept is the assumption that someone seeking specific help must be dishonest. People ask for help differently—and I’m just doing the best I can to survive with dignity.

This website was built on kindness, it involves a community of people that truly care about each other. They attempt to keep people from being ripped off etc. The moderators try desperately to keep up with what’s going on in the industry and educate everyone on how to proceed in a fair and honest way. When you ask for”free stuff” you are asking for $
These people paid for their timeshares, Maintance fees etc … nothings free in life, they paid for it. So it’s a gift to you that they worked long and hard for.
