We have been going to HI every winter for Jan-Feb staying at a resort that bulk space banks their units about 18 months in advance which we book for a month - then eventually get other weeks using ongoing searches - which is a pain and gambling as we all know. But we are getting tired of HI after 12 years esp now with the super expensive car rentals after Covid.

Are there any RCI resorts on southern FL beaches that bulk space bank their weeks so we can book a month consecutively? Or maybe even 2 weeks consecutively? Just hate to pack and move too often.

When do most Jan/Feb weeks get deposited in RCI for southern FL beaches? One year in advance?

I know there are lots of deposits of bulk space bank deposits Weston FL located inland and of course, Orlando area. Currently, there are 1 BR units available for Palm Beach Resort for Jan/Feb 2026 - which may be okay, but it is a converted hotel with mini-kitchen. Plus, they charge $10 per night for parking, but at least no daily resort fee which is also a killer. Does anyone know if you can park on the streets free in the neighborhood in Riviera Beach? Or if there is a parking lot/garage with monthly parking rates?

Thanks for any comments

There is a public beach lot nearby but I don't think they allow overnight parking.
It's not a parking garage last time I was there last year unless they built one since then,
it's just a surface lot.
I wouldn't park on the street in this area, you'd probably get towed.
Better to pay the $70 a week than the impound and towing fees.

Wyndham Ocean Palms might be a good option.
It's part of the Wyndham Sea Gardens Resort.
It's on the intracoastal but you have access to the beach onsite and they have
free parking in a covered parking garage, and the units are full condos with kitchens
and a nice view of the intracoastal and sunsets.
Most people don't book it because it's a block from the beach but the building is
decent and secure and the units are nice enough. Not a Marriott but you have
everything you'll need for a few weeks.

The other units in Sea Gardens are decent too but are more motel like but some have
full kitchens as well. Parking is also free but is not covered and is motel style.
I believe Sea Gardens must have been a motel conversion with the building across
the street and at the end added afterwards.

They have 3 pools and pretty gardens. Low key timeshare presentation if you want
to do it. Easy to get in RCI. I don't go in the winter so don't watch the bulk deposits
for winter but the rest of the year it seems easy enough to get.

Fort Lauderdale beach resort is also an easy trade that might be one that bulk deposits.
Sorry but I don't watch the deposits because I always see this one available so I'd imagine
that several ongoing searches would match for you.
Free parking, a block from the beach and full kitchens.
Not real fancy but decent enough.
Good location for walking to restaurants and shops and the water taxi stops nearby.

Try looking at the Sightings BB and see who posts frequently. They're the ones who probably know about bulk deposits. Then PM?

Near the sea.

I stay at the Palm Beach Resort a lot since we live right across the state. There’s no other overnight parking. The streets on Singer island are no parking streets. The lot on the inter-coastal for the marina is not for overnight unless you are a boat owner. I would not park on the other side of the inter-coastal. The area is sketchy with a lot of new construction going on. There is an indoor garage for Publix on the other side of the inner coastal but I have not been in it so don’t know about other optional parking.
Also PB Shores wants you to rent their beach chairs. So if you bring your own you have to go the the far left or the far right.
I don’t know what your HI temperatures are like but as a now FL resident the beaches are way too cold in Jan Feb and the first half of March. I go there for the birding.

Thank you everyone for your comments!

As I suspected, there is no street parking in the Riveria Beach residential neighborhoods. During Covid, we stayed in the Marriott Ocean Palms and Ocean Point for a few weeks in early Dec and mid January, so spent quite a lot of time just walking around and over the bridge to the mainland for our daily outing and to get some exercise. I must admit that nice warm beach days were infrequent with either cool temps or gusty winds. We stayed one time for the entire month of January, I think on Singer Island, and did not have one single good day beach day. So maybe we will continue to go to Hawaii - which has good warm beach weather about 80% of the time. We do love being able to snorkel directly off the HI beaches - which is our favorite activity there.

Keep in mind that Capital Resorts now has its' tentacles deep into FLBR, having acquired ownership of several hundred weeks there (before being given the boot last year as the FLBR management company). I suspect that FLBR availability and practices of "yesteryear" are likely very different today with Capital Resorts now so heavily involved there.

Thanks all for your comments. Ah heck, guess I am naive about all the daily resort and parking fees being charged by timeshare resorts these days. Just encountered a bunch of such fees in both FL and HI. Guess that we have been lucky staying in resorts without such fees. One resort in Kauai had a daily $10 parking and $35 resort fee -ouch! Plus, HI resorts also have daily mandatory
Taxes of about $20 and daily AC fees of $10.

So will likely book the Palm Beach Resort - I do like the area and very quiet there!
