Experiences with Timeshare Travel.com

Based on one week's experience with this company I would avoid them like the plague. No return calls, no answers to questions, the resort offered has been sold but still on their data base, probably "bait and switch".

I purchased a Sedona Property through them; and had absolutely no problems... I worked with Jana for the wholesaler... and then with a Ginger Spendrift (Howell) for the closing ( who they suggested).. The entire process took about 4 weeks.. I would have no problems dealing with them again.. But I know they are slow on updating there website... though you should have no trouble phoning them direct.

I bought a timeshare from them about a year ago (March 2006) and finally got all the paperwork signed 10 months later in December. They were not only slow but in my opinion very sloppy and poor at following up on details. They also continued to list the unit up until last month when they finally updated their website after years of neglect. I would stay away from them.

Anyone sold their timeshare through this outfit, Timeshare Travel & Associates, Inc., Salt Lake City, UT, DBA as TimeShareTravel.com? They tell me they deal with various non-profits. A+ BBB rating (and member). 1 resolved compliant in three years. Deeded transfer. I have to pay when I fill out the sales contract, but it's not to list, it's to sell. Haven't gotten it yet. Awaiting snail mail.

I wouldn't pay a cent until the funds for the "purchase" were in escrow with a company I trusted. That's just me though. Do you ever get to speak with your buyer?
