Hello,

I am interested in people's experiences and rentals with go-Koala. I have been seeing the recent posts on RW, and not happy about how they are raising prices. We also tried to rent a week on RW for last month unsuccessfully, so we just went to the property anyway which was fine.

I want to diversify the sources I am using, and I am reading a lot of good things and comments about go-Koala. I understand go-Koala has 3+ tiers, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Platinum +. At this point we are likely looking at either the Silver or Gold options. We are Westin and Sheraton Flex owners, with the flexibility to convert to MVC points.

Any experiences and insights are appreciated.

Many thanks!

I don't think you need to go with any of their Tiers to list your timeshare for rent on Koala. You can list for free but they take an 8% commission and charge the renter a 10% booking fee. This is similar to Redweek except Redweek charges you $148 ($49 upfront and $99 for a successful rental) and a 10% booking fee to the renter. If you are renting low end timeshares, Koala may be a cheaper option. Their main issue is with traffic and attracting renters. See this post for some more details.
