I've long wanted to stay at Maui Lea and noted that Trading Places Maui (independent from Trading Places Int.) often has availability there.
Has anyone used Trading Places Maui? Did you have a good experience?
I recently experienced what feels like a bait and switch. I deposited a week with them based in part on one employee's counsel that a unit was available; then allegedly someone with an ongoing request put it on hold and later booked it. The counselor said that there was lots of time (nearly 2 years) for my exchange to come through.
After my deposit was confirmed a different employee said they get very few deposits for the timeframe I requested. We are not very flexible re. timing since I'm trying to put together four consecutive weeks. Have I been suckered?
