We previously saw "The Woman in Gold" in NYC
(about which the movie was based).
A few weeks ago, we saw more of his works
(i.e. "The Kiss") at the Belvedere in Vienna.

We may need to make a pilgrimage to NYC.

We have been to the Neue Gallery in NYC. That is where The Woman in Gold "lives". On our first visit there they were having a special Klimpt exhibit where the entire fist floor was Klimpt works that had been borrowed from other locations. Fabulous.

Make sure you watch the movie The Woman In Gold. True story. Tells a lot about Klimt’s works. The book was kind of hard for me to get through, but the movie was great.

+2 for the Neue Gallery. We were there in June. Awesome place.

This immersive Klimt exhibit appears to be much like the immersive Van Gogh exhibit we saw last year in Las Vegas. It was excellent. I hope they'll take this Klimt on the road, and bring it here. I'd enjoy seeing this.

What a Twilight Zone moment. Before I saw this post, I started watching Woman in Gold last night on Netflix. I've seen it before. It's a great movie and based on a true story.

I don't think we've ever been there (we've only been twice) when it was at a time we wanted to have tea. And if we do the Klimpt immersive will probably skip the Neue this visit.

I feel like we may have had reservations, which would be normal for me if I had any advance notice from a website or guidebook that they were needed.
