Experience changing Craig Lodges reservation - website odd behavior

I thought I would share my experience with making a change to a Craig Lodges reservation in case it helps others. We had booked a 2-bedroom lodge for 5 nights, initially thinking that we wanted to spend some time elsewhere in Scotland, like Edinburgh at the end of the week's vacation trip from the US in June. On later reconsideration, this didn't seem to work out well so we wanted to just do the entire week at Craigendarroch.

When I went into change the reservation the availability showed no availability in 2-bedroom lodges, just 1- and 3-bedroom ones appeared. Checking outside of the change reservation process, there was clearly availability.

So, I changed the reservation first to a 3-bedroom unit. Once that was done, I could then go back into that updated reservation and change it. Then, it showed 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom lodges, but no 3-bedrooms. That let me then select the 7 nights I wanted in a 2-bedroom and I got it to where I wanted it to be.

Clearly the system has a design flaw here. The mobile app also acted the same way.

This happens, at times, with all changes. It isn't Craig specific, just website issues. You just have to call CS and have them change the reservation. I have had to do this for other properties many times.
